This research paper presents a comprehensive, deeply expanded, exhaustive, and fundamental systematic technological, economic, and engineering analysis concerning the development, design, and deployment of low-cost measurement systems tailored for developing countries. The primary focus centers on investigating open-source hardware architectures, frugal innovation paradigms, microcontroller-based data acquisition units, sensor calibration methodologies, and decentralized manufacturing paradigms designed to overcome severe financial, infrastructural, and logistical constraints. The article meticulously examines power-harvesting techniques, robust analog-to-digital conversion circuits, wireless sensor networks operating under unstable communication grids, and participatory sensing frameworks utilized in environmental monitoring, agricultural soil diagnostics, and decentralized healthcare diagnostics.
